I've done my fair share of cliff diving over the years. Although it is very dangerous, it can be done safely and it is a hell of a lot of fun! Always look before you leap. The river has some good spots. I prefer the river because the water is nice and clear so you can see what is below you.

The river water is way too cold though, until the summer is in full swing. I found that out one April when it was nice and warm out but the water was still at a cool 50 or so degrees. Won't be doing that again, haha.
