I went for a long drive Saturday to Ririe. I thought about fishing, but I got side tracked along the way. I figured with the sun and the crowds the fishing would be not so hot anyway. I took a few pics along the way, around 900+. I did end up seeing around 600+ deer, 400+ elk, 3 moose, a porcupine, and a coyote. Here are a few panorama's of Ririe and the elk and deer. Not the best since I did not use my tripod, but you can still count the critters.
The Ririe pic is taken on the road down to he dock.
The two of the elk are taken about 1.5 miles from the dam and are taken from the same spot. I tried to stitch all 10 photos together, but it was to big. There were more elk in the area, but could not get them all in one pic.
The pic of the deer is only a portion of what I seen in this area. The horns are starting to drop as I seen a few 1 horned bucks here and there.
Everything I seen looked very good and healthy.
Warning! Large files.
