Seen stories of fall-night-fly-fishing for big browns on rivers. Using mouse, frog, - big patterns. Lost of protein as they bulk up for winter.
Catfishing is always popular at night. That's when the BIG lunkers seem to come out and play. Some fish are more geared for night vision - like the Walleye. Heard Crappie like the night hours too.
So if you're ice fishing, and your camera has an LED light to it - what then?! I can't see lights having any of the same issues or problems as chumming can introduce.
It's definitely a different feeling being on a water after dark. One of those times I like having the GPS if it's a bigger lake - so I don't have to navigate by the stars!
