suggestions for nymphing
#4
Personally I'd head to the South Fork right now. In my own experience, the Henry's gets a lot better in a few weeks. Right now the slush ice flows are common. The fall and the Henry's near Ashton both have huge deep shelf ice right now that last year cleared up by the second week of February. They also just bumped the flows on the South Fork, which last year was a big help for trout to whitefish ratio and this will keep the water temperature higher for a longer distance downstream from the dam.
