Bad day at Twin Lakes

We arrived at 09:30 Am and were almost set up on the lake . We had all 10 rods set out and just getting ready for a great day on the ice , when my friend starts getting a real good bite on the rod farthest away and makes a mad dash to set the hook . There is a thin layer of snow on the ice and it is very slick . He tried to stop and his feet slip out and down he goes on his elbow and snaps his arm between the elbow and shoulder . Just want to say thanks to the great Fire department and Ambulance service from Preston and the great staff at there hospital that stabilized him . At seven tonight he was headed into surgery at Bingham Memorial to repair the break . Normally we fish alone because we have different days off but he took vacation to go with me .
