I'd hope that they would design it so that it could withstand some drop from the 1069 feet it's being installed at. It would be 
to see it become unusable again if the water drops further. It sure would seem like a waste of money at that point. They've been chasing the water line for some time now. Anyway, that's why boaters get charged extra for use of the launches.
