No wood. I try to stay clear of wood on the trailer as it is really subjected to the elements and wood is High maintenance and greatly effected.
If I could do the floor in something else I would, but it is marine plywood and urethaned yearly.
No the box was a heavy duty rubbermaid, sort of like this one:

And we had the little locks on each end.
When you start fixing up the trailer, a little tip, if you can't lift the
by hand, you have too much up front and it isn't going to track right. At least that is what I have found.
