when I talked to the fish n game they told me it is up to the land owner on if it is to be removed they said they would like to see them removed due to them destroying the bank and altering the flow of the river... And by no means am I going to try and do it myself as I've pulled one myself befor and it took me off my feet on rapid creek in inkom... And for those that know it it's small so I can only imagine how much force it will have on a larger river.. I understand some of your arguments on the removal... But a beaver dam once again does far more harm than it does good... It destroys the land around it destroys the river below and above it... It just has far more faults than pluss... And the fish n game said please remove it.. And they will help...
