but thats not true!!
most pepole die from going under the ice and cant find the hole they went through to get back out.. no mater how deep the water is if you go through there a good chance you will slide under the ice.. your clothes your wearing can and will float if only for a instent.. and that can keep you from getting your feet under you.. as a fact i seen a guy do that very thing at pali
es 3 years ago in 3 feet of water. if it was not for his buddy that went in after him he would not have made it..
if ya want to play it safe stay away from the edges of a lake that is comeing up the ice is thiner around the edges allways..
