I fished the south end near Blue Herron on Saturday morning and caught 3 Kokanee and a Coho in about 15 FOW, fish were moving around and all were caught about 5-6 feet off the bottom. The bite was pretty much completely over by 9:30. They were hitting any type of jig tipped with a worm.
Left there about 11:30 to try some other places. Finally settled in at Poison Creek. Fished in about 22 FOW, for about 2 hours. Caught 1 trout (14 inches or so) and 4 perch (ranging from 9-12 inches. Same jigs and baits. Also caught those 5-6 feet off the bottom. There were some guys fishing closer in, don't know the depth of water or what they were using. I think they were there all day. They had several perch and a few trout. 2 of the trout they had were about 24 inches plus.
I'm pretty sure a guy could do well at Boulder or Sugarloaf as well. Like it was pretty much already said, just gotta get out there and get some lines in the water.
