Cascade help.
#2
This forum is of great help if you frequent the waters of East Idaho. Not a lot of help regarding Cascade Reservoir.

I fished it on New Year's Day. It was 15 below and pretty tough fishing. So tough I could get about three jigs in before the surface would freeze again. There was plenty of snow on top of plenty of ice. The Nils did its job well. I fished the northern part of the Res. Many anglers swear by "Sugarloaf." I have not fished that part of the Res. I used the Boulder Creek Day Use opened by IDPR. I hunted the water fowl opener in October and the there were hundreds of little perch within 40 feet of the boat ramp at Boulder Creek.

The trick is to get out there and put some hooks in the water.

If there is still a lot of snow I'd suggest snow shoes or a large internal combustion sled.

Tell'm good luck.
