Replacing Impeller???

Most manufacture recommend that the impeller is changed every year or 2 as routine maintenance, so even if the water outlet is plugged, the same debris that plugged the water outlet has also gone through the impeller this is what causes them to wear, plus being that the impeller is made of rubber it tends to take a set (which means the blades become curved and no longer flex to sweep the housing like they do when they are new) this also causes a lack of water flow.
