Was fishing Glenndale today when a group of people got on the ice with a small dog and a large one. There is still open water just east of the dam. I told my son n law that we would probably get to see a dog in the water for sure and maybe someone swimming after it, about ten minutes later the dog fell through the ice and sure enough one of the people went to the rescue. He was very lucky that he didn't go in also. He threw a jacket out to the dog and it was able to get enough traction to get out.
After that common sense says tie the dog up or put it back in the truck, nope the dog continued to run, but at least it was a lot smarter than the people it came with, because it didn't get back in the water.
Please keep the dogs at home or at least on a leash.
I took my daughter and her husband fishing and wanted them to catch a few fish and the planters there did cooperate. It wasn't nonstop but it was fun for them. Sorry it was to cold to think about pictures.
