I have a story to tell abpout young yellow labs. This was many years ago. I had volunteered to baby sit a neighbors and fellow hunter's 1 yr. old yellow lab while they went on a trip. Well, Jessy (my then golden bud) and I decided to go duck hunting while my wife took care of the lab. Limited out with 7 ducks, a mixed bag, brought them home, breasted em and left em in a bag on the back porch while I went inside to rinse and package the breasts. Came back out and there set the young female lab with feathers in her mouth with a
, OH, Oh, ------------ , not only did she have a meal, but she ate all 7, feet. bills and everything. [shocked][shocked][shocked] Man, her belly was dragging on the ground and I got real scared on what might well be the result. Well, we watched her and the only thing of note was a several feathers in her poo in the next several days. WOW Never told the owner until much latter. [:/] He had a good laugh.
