Idaho, don't go getting you shorts in a knot. [shocked] [laugh] No one was pushing anything that I could see. It is just a discussion. That is what forums do.

The comment was polite and was not personally meant to anyone individual. Ice fishing is ok and so is keeping the fish, BUT if any of you are releasing the fish PLEASE don't lay them on the ice. If you care about the fish and the fishery then handle your fish you are releasing so that they have the best chance to survive.

To me it is kind of like picking up a cupcake, scrunching it, then putting it back for someone else to eat. Sure you put the cupcake back, but it didn't survive very well. Makes you cringe a little, and maybe you try and help everyone learn a bit more on cupcake handling! [laugh][laugh][laugh]

Then the discussion turned a bit, but was still polite, with comments on whether or not posting on BFT increased fishing pressure on some of these areas. I don't think that personal attacks need to be involved. I think it is ok to discuss the issues. It is still just a discussion, so lets keep it that way.
