I have known about chesterfeild my whole life, mainly due to growing up in the area.
Did a search on chesterfeild and got allot of stuff about the town not the reservoir, I think they are trying to entice tourism into the area. One of the articles I read said there was Black crappie, chinook salmon, cutthroat trout, LMB, SMB, sockeye salmon, northern Pike, and yellow perch. I have never heard of a large majority of those fish being in there, This was on one of the tourist sites of things to do in the area.
And yes it was talking about this particular chesterfeild. I wouldn't say it is so much this site as to the popularity of the water, It has been a popular reservoir for as long as I can remember. It may have just become popular on this site within the past few years but that doesn't mean people didn't already know about it. Alot of people grew up fishing it and brought there friends who brought their friends and so forth, and it is pretty easy to find and access.
