Ya know, I think about it. I do killer with my deep nymphing on open water, I don't see this style as much different other than could be hard on a fly line if the run...LOL
But you know, I have the two pole permit and have used it for several years at Daniels on the open water. Been check many times for my license AND a peek at my hooks to make sure no barb.
I can't find anything that says this is acceptable either, (to use to poles)
So I take it, with that piece of paper...one rod/pole. In other words, you have a license, you can use one pole/rod...then there is a permit (or another license) for another pole/rod.
I would say it is legal.
I know most lakes you are allowed to use multi ice fishing poles, Daniels is just saying ONE pole per permit maybe????
I would like to hear it from the horses mouth though, wouldn't you all?
