New guy, couple of toon questions

like what was mentioned earlier but not expanded on....I have a toon as well and use my oars to get to a location but once there i use my fins to hold position or move short distances. Anchor?? Never use one, if its that rough out then its time to rethink what I am doing. I can tread water easily and stay put on a spot and fish it well, fins are my friend.
