I am going to go ahead and lock this thread simply because it has run its course. I believer everyone has been given a chance to express their opinions and everyone has made their point.
I am not a serious steelhead fisherman so I don't have a dog in the fight. However, I would hope that everyone can put any bad feelings aside and come back and talk rationally on fishing subjects in the future. All of your opinions are valued. I know I have have learned from all of you. Remember even if we have different opinions on various subjects we can only educate and help each other by keeping open communication. After we have slammed each other and verbally beat each other up we don't tend to want to listen to anything.
