I don't mind ice fishing, and I don't mind legal harvest, but I am not so sure about derbys on our small reservoirs. How many people are in this derby?
I am a bit
could you explain the good things about this for me?
How is it that you put on a derby yet say things like this about harvesting : ????

It all makes sense now, I've always wondered why the fish in Daniels Reservoir seem to stop growing once they hit the 18.5-19" mark. I've always just assumed it was because of the 20" min. size limit. I guess I was just using good common sense and not scientific data, because ten years ago there were few anglers and lots of 21+" fish, now there are lots of anglers and relatively few fish over 20". Now I know better, in order to save their lives and stay out of the frying pan they must be shrinking to stay under the keeper size. Smart little buggers aren't they. There is one scientific fact that can never be argued though; a dead fish will not grow larger after it gets murdered……
