Oh, I re evaluate that 6 wt. as a 44 Mag...LOL Reason being, is I loaded mine hot and would have liked to drop a deer with it.
And although, no current, I have landed large fish with a 6 wt.[

But, then I landed a 22" Brown with a bamboo in current. That fish never left the water though. I didn't expect one that big in the section I was in, but again, anything is possible.
