Parts of Lucky Peak, Anderson Ranch, Arrowrock, and C. J. Strike freeze most years. The ice is usually unstable and has thin spots. My suggestion is to stay off those lakes until the ice is a solid 6-10 inches, and be very careful and watch conditions. Anderson Ranch and Arrowrock always have ice safety issues, Lucky Peak can fish well through the ice. Strike can be good if safe ice gets to the good spots. I have seen guys drive cars around on Strike. Just remember no fish is worth your life. Cascade and Magic always have great ice and the fishing can be very good there.
