Does every lake freeze over?

i think if you read historicly they say it only freezes a couple times in a 10 year period. That has nothing to do with the cold or weather paterns they get plenty of that. its the wind. if you can get a week of calm weather without waves it will freeze and i would have no doubt you could drive whatever you want on it. i have read that about the ice they use to pull out for the old refridgerators and cold rooms.
