Fishing Pond at Stephanie & 215 in Vegas???

Okay, in Henderson right at Stephanie and 215 there used to be a gravel pit. About 4 years ago while digging, one of Las Vegas's many underground aquifers was struck, and the pit filled with fresh water. Since that time I have always wanted it to be a fishing pond - About a year and a half ago, I dropped some channel cats in there, and recently saw bass boats on it!! If anyone is interested, I want to try and convince the land owner of making a city pond out of it.
