I wasn't trying to attack you, I'm just a skeptic in general. I think it was just the comment of catching bass on every other cast that had me wondering. I was just thinking that if they were in there at that kind of concentration, I would have run into some by now. However, I've only fished down by the dam, so maybe I'll have to try the east side. I'm definitely planning on waiting until spring to chase bass again. I don't even know if I'll try for trout again this year. It's freaking cold and nasty and I don't ice fish.

I'm intrigued by the bull trout in the Portneuf. I've never caught one, but I've been wanting to for years.
