In my opinion the fish will be in the same places that they are now. In other words in the late fall holes. The key is to find places away from the other fishermen and stay quiet.

It is not easy ice fishing. Many of the fish are in shallow water under thin ice. If the ice is clear it is even worse. The best thing that can happen is to get good fishable ice and then get a coat of snow.
