And Amen on the pond thing.
My Mrs doesn't seem to like the winter-kill effect either. I've found the little feeder goldfish are hardier than Koi when it comes to overwintering. Gotta have enough air under the ice.
She doesn't seem to like the natural flow of big fish eating little fish. So I don't tell her when I pickup a batch of guppies.
Didn't include her on the suggestion we try some barbless hooks for C&R action in our own pond...
