Notes on the Nov 2nd trip. Very few boats. Boated five trout. 15 1/2 to 16" but all fatties. Spent an hour and a half looking for them and caught all five just north of the hump. They were absent further up the S.R. arm where we found them last trip. Also lost 4 or 5 that didn't stick... Had them on for a minute or so and then gone... Once we had all three rods go off simultaneously but only one fish netted due to the major confusion that ensued!
Heading down again tomorrow. Maybe the last chance during this incredible stretch of weather.
Ironically, I think the balmy weather with little or no wind produces mixed results.
Most years past the colder fall days with 7-8 mph winds produce great trout trolling.
Water temp is steadily dropping. 53 degrees this trip; down 4 degrees from the 21st.
