Good information and good practice in many areas of Idaho.
If you are going to keep them (such as in planter/put and take areas) it helps to gut them immediately and put them on ice. Especially true for kokanee and trout. Saw some guy at the new Strike fish cleaning station had trout looked like they were caught several hours prior and maybe just left in the bottom of the boat??? Aarrgg. Didn't look too tasty...
