Mead slow fishing?
#2
i don't know if the lake is slowing down or not, could be the cold front we are in right now, but i have noticed a lull in bites even using live shad, not even a bite, i've been out every weekend for the last 4 weeks and only able to get into some dinks with the largest being 8", using chrome castmasters and lil cleos. 2 weeks ago seen a guy come down with 15 nice 2-5lb stripers, and a few smallmouths to clean. he got them from the same shore i was fishing using live shad, and last weekend i seen a guy with a nice 3 or 4 lbr caught on the bottom with chovies. i think its just hit and miss, i'm sure the weather is a big factor too. and the last few weeks i have not seen any boils myself....
