+1 on the smoker you could smoke a old leather boot and make it taste good LOL. [

Not a big fan of eating rainbows over the years Ive lost my taste for trout. Really the only time they taste good is smoked or from the lake direct to the camp fire.
Have only eaten white fish once un-smoke just to try it and It was greasy, had a really strong fishy taste to it. [unimpressed]
I prefer bass & perch, the meat seems to be flakier and not as fishy.
