i know its a late post but i had to recover from digging my suv out of the mud by hand with the help of some fellow fisherman with a truck and straps. thank you again if u are a bft member. i'm gonna rant a bit... first of all why the hell would the rangers NOT come out to help someone stuck in the mud knowing i had a baby and 2 other children they didn't even come out to check on us what are they there for?. secondly "big johns towing" are a$$holes they wouldn't even start up their truck unless i had 175.00 to pay them, all i needed was to be pulled not 10 feet to hard ground, so here i am digging out of milkshake consistancy clay by hand with my kids, i have sooo many cuts on my hands, from all the clam shells out there. we got dug mostly out, then our saviors came to the rescue and pulled us the rest of the way out thanx again guyz, kicked them down a $20 for beers. so anywayz after the ordeal we decided to still try and fish, but nothing went right though, it was a burn out fishing trip we packed up when the weather turned nasty, only geting a couple 3" dinks. so lesson learned... be sure of the ground which u drive on at the lake, don't count on your tax dollars that we pay the rangers, they won't help, and carry around 200.00 for the tow truck to pull you out. tight lines all here are some afterwards pix
