Help finding Pike or Tiger Muskie
#6
Tiger muskie have been planted in Little Payette Lake in 2002, 2006, and then in 2007 they planted a significantly larger number of them. I know folks who fish for them there and do quite good, and for some lunkers at that. They are very tight-lipped about the fishery, and swore me to secrecy in regards to what they were fishing with. Just think typical hardware! By the way, I believe the problem is not trout, but rather stunted kokanee. If the problem was stunted trout, they wouldn't have been planting kamploops trout in there every year, including about 10,000 this year. The kokanee certainly haven't been wiped out either. They are thick in there. Mike
