I looked into those Tiger Musky lakes around McCall and the way I understand it they were just stocked to eat most of the trout in those lakes. The lakes they put them in were overpopulated with stunted trout. The Tiger Musky ate the trout until the food supply ran out and then started to die. Since they are hybrids they can't reproduce, so the lake was left with very few trout and could be managed as desired. I don't know if there are any Tiger Musky left in any of the lakes.
