I would think they would do the trick but you never know with these fish. The Spinnows were recommended to me by the guys at the bait shop near the lake, apparently thats what all the fishing guides are using and they swear by them, especially using the approach of dropping through the school and reeling in pretty fast to instigate the bite. I just happen to have a krocodile in my arsenal and it payed off.
Normally i find schools and cast out but i think i have been casting away from where the fish are. This time i just keep the school directly under me (had to do some trolling) and dropped the line over the side of the boat. I had to have been landing it right in the middle of the school every time.
This coming weekend will tell me if i was just lucky. I am gonna try the same tactic and see what happens. THis time im taking a camera!!!
