Hell yeah!! The shad rap is my go to bait in the fall! Up lake Erie i would throw mine out to 28' of water and bring it up a drop off that came up to about 12' or 10' and the minute i felt the bill start tapin the bottom WHAM! nice largemouth. Caught them all day doing that. THey funny thing is my dad had a shallow diving X-rap on and he was not catching anything. I gave him a deeper divin shad rap and he started to get into the fish to!
