decided to make an afternoon trip out to the same spot i went last week and got some dink action, got out to the lake about 2ish, and man that wind was blowing something nasty, the water was cappin, the rain was coming in sidewayz, and the bolt lightning was striking, but me and the boy still went for it we rigged up with swimbaits and caught nothing, went with spoons and nothing, not even a bite, then some guy came along and dropped us off some live shad i was sooo pumped i just knew we were gonna hook up, but again nothing...then i got REALLY discouraged when the same guy that gave me the shad came down with a bucket full (15 to be exact) of 2-5lb stripers and 2 nice smallies he had caught earlier that day, he said they were boiling not 20 feet from shore, right before we showed up. bad timing i guess. we left about 5:30pm, until next time...
