You need to take another look at what goes on at Deer creek...
There is and have been many fish over the size limit taken out of there each day but the big thing is FOOD for the fish or bass as we are talking about on this post..
The truth is that if you take out the bigger fish of any type all you do is make room for more small fish.....
If you let people take the fish out of a lake (any lake) even the Berry sooner or later the fish will seen to only be up to a one size, say for bass like East canyon 10 to 11" is what you have with maybe one bigger once in a wile, the Berry up to 21 1/2" all day long with very few over that...
The bass in all the lakes was this way back in the 1980's, very few bass in any lakes, and in order to catch any you had to know what you was doing and a good day of fishing for bass was 3 to 5 fish days....And you think that was good...
It has taken from then till now to get the bass fishing to what it is now, but it will be gone within two years or three at best...then it will take another 5 to 7 years to change it again and 5 to 7 to get back to what we have now...
How many years do you have left for fishing??????
Look at Yuba has the DWR helped that lake or the fishing in it??????
