Nice explanation!! A good example of this the Lahontah Cuts, they get huge in Pyramid Lake NV, but the little creeks they are often found in the west desert can only support a max 12 inch fish. So they grow to 12 inches and live their little fishy lives. Doesn't matter how long they live there, they will not grow to 30 pounds as is their potential.
