Ok So i went to brownlee on saturday night.. We threw everything we had at them stink bait worms dough baits ...... the only things that worked was a nasty rotten thing of chicken livers that i left out on the patio ffor a few days. As soon as the sun set we couldnt reel them in fast enough. I dont think we caught a catfish that was under 4 pounds ,,,, they were all beasts. the biggest vat we caught we weighed it and it was 14 lbs.. it was by far the biggest one that i have ever caught. I had a medium heavy pole with a bait casting reel and when it bit the hook it bent the pole tip clear to the water ..it was awesome.. We didnt go all the way to brownlee, well its hard to say whn that res. starts. we were south of steck park.
