couldn't agree more maddogg. paddock reservoir was always regarded as having " no bass over 11 3/4". but i caught dozens of hogs up to 8.25 pounds. and there are other bodies of water like it as well. and it is funny people love to kill bass, but are afraid of taking 8" trout out of the water as they are a" majestic" fish. i fish for trout in the winter when the bass / catfish are harder to catch. but i don't think they are anywhere near a sporting fish as a bass.
