that is a horrible feeling when the boat is gone. Last year we were fishing below pali
es damn in december and had rowed across to the other side. when we went back to the boat it had driffted downstream and gotten hung up on a gravel bar. i did not have waders so I had to strip down to my skivvies and wade all the way downstream to the the boat. i was amazed at how many fish swam into my legs while wading. Anyways I felt really lucky that the boat isn't still floating down river right now.
