Do you know how to catch bass in deeper water? I surely do not!

Find deep structure. Or drop offs are good to. I know of a little place in lake Erie where there is 30' of water that comes up to about 12' and i can spend all day there pounding the largemouth in the fall. i just throw out into the deep water and let my crank work up the side of the drop off. sometimes it helps if you let your crank dig into the lake bottom. u will feel your crank bouncing when the lip starts to tap the bottom. i will get 90% of my fish when i feel that happening.
