Onieda Report

I wanted to thank the people for their response to my questions on Onieda. The campground there is great and found the spot I was told of. We went for the night on Saturday. The wind was blowing until just before dark and didn't catch any fish yesterday afternoon or night. Fish jumping everywhere. Are those carp? Perch? I bet last night 2-3 seconds couldn't go by without hearing another splash. Saw lots of crawdads too, which was pretty cool. This morning was gorgeous and went for a little spin on the lake. Fished mostly a floating jig head and crawler rigged lindy style and caught some carp and had lots of bites. As soon as I put on a lindy spinner I got a walleye.
This looks like a great place and will definately be back.
I will try and target smallmouth and walleye but would love to get into some perch. Anyways, Thanks.
