1st time to Brownlee - HELP

thanks so much for the help! if i wanted to go to steck park, could i stay on I-84 to Huntington, OR and cross the river? i looked on google maps but i cant tell if the bridge there is for a train or cars... it would be much faster that way but it seems too good to be true.
