I am heading to Powell the weekend of the 24th for a couple of days and need some advice from you experts out there. I labeled this as Part 1 because I will be requesting advice again in a couple of weeks if I dont hear anything.
I am fishing out of a boat but need to know if I should launch at Hite and go south or launch at Bullfrog and go north. I will be camping and have several 5 gallon gas cans for fuel reserve if needed. I have seen some of the reports on WayesWords and am considering the Cedar and Knowles canyon areas.
Minimal expense is the theme. The diesel from Provo to Powell is a given but want to minimize the cost on the water. T'would be great if there was a great Largemouth, smallmouth, striper bite in Halls Creek Bay.
Another challenge is that it will be during a full moon, which may be good or bad, but I cant help that.
