Emerald Lake has brookies but there are very few in the streams. The rare ones caught in streams can't be released because they don't want them to hybridize with the bull trout. Quite a few fish to be found- the natives include bull, redband, bonneville cutthroat and lahontan cutthroat trout plus whitefish. Besides introduced brookies I think there are a few rainbows as well. Great small stream fishing and solitude. If you don't know where I'm talking about just google Drawbridge Wiscosin [
] or something like that. If too many Utahns show up and start to ruin the place the locals are likely to get a rope to put a stop to it[shocked].
