I've mostly heard of people doing a hard one day trip through the canyon to byington, but often heard of the overnight trips as well. A 3 day outing would be awesome, allowing plenty of time to really work it over! Not sure where the campsites are exactly but I'm sure the forest service could tell you or even give you maps of them. The one thing I found last week for getting fish to hit was get really close to the brush and banks.
