Yes, you just follow the road on around.

Bank fishing, boat, or float tube?

There is some bank access just off of the road. Beyond the end of the road (where the road turns away) is private land and no bank access.

A float tube can be launched along most of the road area.

There is also a boat ramp not far south of the island area.
