rock fish is snohomish wa?

so i was out fishing in the snohomish river today by the bob hierman park, and i caught a few of what i think to be black rockfish, got one about 8 in. it had a large wide mouth,two japaneese fan looking side fins , and was black with some white patches. im just wondering if anyone in the area has caught one of theses and knows if there edible ... or good at lest. i caught mabye 5 little ones, and two larger ones like i said 6-8 in .. any help?
